Do you feel overlooked? Maybe you feel as if you’re going through a difficult situation alone, or you feel undervalued. Perhaps you feel as if no one sees your pain or that God has forgotten about you. Maybe you are hearing whispers in your hears that you are not worthy. Well, the good news is that we serve a God who sees.

I want you to know that whatever you're going through right now, God is going through it with you. He sees your pain, your cries, your thoughts, every little details you can think of. As a loving father, he will never leave you abandoned. In fact Jesus relates perfectly with this feeling. He was humiliated by many. So you can imagine, when we’re going through these moments, he understands perfectly. In his word, he says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light"-Matthew 11:29. This verse reminds us that in moments of desperation, instead of leaning to your own emotions or worry, you should lean towards God. We weren't meant to carry these burdens by ourselves. God is inviting you to come to him instead. He wants you to surrender all these thoughts, pain, heartbreaks or any insecurities you may have to him. Imagine him telling you, "My child I love you, I see you, I have a great plan for you".
I know you may say, "But how do I know he truly sees me?"
I- Rely on his Word
God's word contains all his promises for those who loves him. Read his word like a letter from a father to his child. In his word, he promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Also, remember that all these promises or any personal promise that God has given you, are "Yes and Amen".
2 Corinthians 1:20 says: For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
It is also in the word of God that we find many stories of people we can relate to. We have the story of Hannah for instance, who was barren and was waiting for a long time for a child. We can say that Hannah felt like an underdog, but in the midst of her deep pain and despair, she cried out to God and remained in prayer. Eventually, God's promise came to pass and he gave her exceedingly and abundantly above what she expected. We also have the story of Hagar, who felt humiliated, forgotten and treated unfairly. In the midst of her hurt, God reminded her that he remembered and saw her. Moreover, we have Job who lost everything, God saw his pain and eventually restored all that he lost. It is the same for you, whatever season you may find yourself right now, know that you can trust God, because we have seen it countless times in his word and his word never fails.
II- Grow deeper in your relationship with God.
The closer you are with someone, the more you know their character, what they will do or won’t do. It’s the same way with our relationship with God, the more time you spend in his presence, The more you know who he is. you begin to trust him more and rely on him for anything. You know that he loves us abundantly and that he is compassionate. Which means that, if your heart is broken, his heart breaks for you as well and he would want to restore your joy. As our father, God wants his children to know him. Spend time in prayer, worship, journaling, so you develop that close relationship with him.
III- Remind yourself of his faithfulness
Reflect on a time that God has shown you his goodness. I'm sure you have many of those, but even if you can only remember one, it is enough. It shows you that clearly, if he was there with you then, he will be there with you this time as well.
Be Encouraged!
